The printed N-Z column survives in the surviving scans. A-M is recovered from nine complete name-to-digit transcriptions Cheiro prints in his own worked examples, with no mismatch across any of them.
Three claims travel with this table and none of them are supported by it: that the ancient Chaldeans held nine sacred (Cheiro gives a narrower and uncited reason, a nine-lettered name of God), that the table is Babylonian (it scores J, U and W, letters that did not exist in antiquity), and that Chaldean is more accurate than Pythagorean. Offered as folklore, not as history.
An earlier printing of nearly the same table
This sits inside the Chaldean section rather than beside it. The table below differs from Cheiro’s at three letters and no more, which is fewer than the four this site fixed on as the line between a variant and a separate school. Counting settles it, so it is printed here as another printing of the same tradition rather than as a fourth one.
It comes with no interpretation. The arithmetic is attested; what a number means in it has not been transcribed, and nothing from the readings above is borrowed to fill the space.

All 26 letters are printed. Nothing is reconstructed. Three scans were read cell by cell and agree row for row, which was necessary rather than thorough: each scan carries a row the others destroy.
All 29 cells equal the digital root of their Hebrew place value - the digital root, not the remainder, because teth (9) and tzaddi (90) both give 0 under a plain mod 9 and the table gives 9. An independent test of the transcription rather than a restatement of it.
